Identification of the Directions of Self-contained Linear Electrohydraulic Actuators’ Development in the Context of Smart-Hydraulics Concept Emerging

Industry and engineering are on the verge of a revolution in the field of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems. The smart hydraulics concept will make hydraulic actuators more self-sufficient and self-contained. The study aims to identify the directions of self-contained linear electrohydraulic actuators’ development in the context of the smart-hydraulics concept emerging. The aim was achieved by scientific and engineering literature analysis and generalization. As a result, the main directions of self-contained linear electrohydraulic actuators’ development in the context of the smart-hydraulics concept were identified.
