Influence of the Sectional Shape of the Grabbing Element of a Screw Composite Spindle on Agricultural Performance and Stability of Operation of a Cotton-Picking Machine
摘要
In this paper, the influence of the cross-sectional shape of the screw composite spindle gripping the elements on agrotechnical indicators has been studied. The influence of different rod configurations on the operation of spindles. With the constant perception of cyclic loads, the teeth of the spindles, depending on the strength and hardness of the material, begin to wear out and the tops of the teeth become crushed and bent, which leads to the spindles being wrapped in cotton fiber and reducing the stability and performance of the machine. It was revealed that the use of screw composite spindles increases the productivity of cotton pickers than serial all-metal spindles. Screw compound spindles are reliable in operation in all respects.
