Inter-role and Inter-cultural Analysis
摘要
Political leaders and business leaders see the world differently. The former are more likely to be ideologically oriented and the latter more pragmatic. Further, national culture has been shown to influence beliefs and actions. Sri Lanka and India are part of a cultural cluster while Canada and the USA are part of another. In this chapter, the interviews conducted in the two clusters were analyzed to identify similarities and differences in leaders’ views on sustainability according to culture and role. These are presented graphically and selected themes are considered in greater detail.
