Conclusion

As 2030 approaches it is becoming clear that the UN sustainability goals will not be achieved in their entirety. Perhaps just a handful of objectives will be achieved. Does this mean that the world community will have to go back to the drawing board to address the sustainability imperative? Perhaps not, but political and business leaders will have to refine their approach to the challenge. This chapter considers some of the issues to be addressed in moving forward.
