摘要

Advancing total factor productivity (TFP) of carbon emission, namely green total factor productivity (GTFP) plays a significant role to promote economy level under a requirement of low-carbon. This research mainly focuses on a detailed picture for the development of GTFP via a bibliometric analysis to classify research streams and future research program. Firstly, a research framework was determined, then the methodology was selected for collection and analysis of the data. The samples consist of 138 papers in several bibliometric exercises from 2004 to 2024 based on Web of Science. The most impactful countries, authors, institutions and journals were identified by employing a citation and collaboration structure analysis. Based on bibliometric coupling, content analysis containing the keywords and main findings by the network visualization was analyzed for the main GTFP research streams. Conclusions include the following points: The research on GTFP has been widely concerned after 2014. China is substantially better than other countries in research of GTFP from all aspects. Collaboration between different authors needs to be strengthened. Due to higher link strength, carbon emission, energy, environmental issues and policies on development of GTFP are highly emphasized. More specific theoretical model and practical technique researches are imperative in the future. A scandalized method with a more comprehensive data collection is necessary for further empirical studies across sectors and regions and overtime.
