Research the Collaboration Between Logistics Infrastructure and Foreign Trade in Foshan Under the Background of the GBA

Although The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) with strong vitality is highly developed economy, also has faced a variety of challenges during the pandemic, such as weak world economic development, difficult operation of small and medium-sized enterprises, and severe employment situation. GBA has stabilized the momentum of economic development by adjusting the industrial structure and accelerating the circulation of factors within the region, and has directly affected the trend of economic development in China. In this paper, the authors firstly built a model based on the VAR and defined the critical variables, then collected the data of logistics infrastructure and foreign trade from 1999 to 2019 in Foshan, lastly analyzed the coordinated development level and synergistic mechanism between logistics infrastructure and foreign trade. On this paper’s countermeasures and suggestions for the development of logistics infrastructure and foreign trade in Foshan are put forward, and the theoretical discussion and development suggestions are carried out for the economic construction of the GBA.
