摘要

This paper focuses on one of the essential functionalities of the instrument conceived to support designers in designing processes of educational video games for Cultural Heritage (CH). The purpose of the instrument is to facilitate the design of educational video games for CH. Through the essential functionality of the instrument, designers can create game descriptions of educational video games dedicated to CH with specialized Design Recommendations based on the Classification of Educational Video Games for CH. This paper presents a model of the relationship between the role of users and the designed user functionalities of the instrument. The model generally illustrates the connectivity and relationship between users and functionalities, the primary communication channels realized between users, and relevant responsibilities in the instrument and functionalities. This paper also presents a detailed model of the essential functionality of the instrument for creating game descriptions with design recommendations for the design of educational video games for CH. Based on the methodological steps of the Summary Model DELIS-CH and the classification, the instrument provides a technological means for creating game descriptions with particular design recommendations to assist designers in designing and creating more and better educational video games for CH. Therefore, this promotes awareness of problems and challenges related to protecting and preserving CH worldwide.
