Kurt Danziger is well known as a historian of psychology. His books on the subject concern the history of psychological methods and the history of psychology’s concepts and categories. He has also published many journal articles and book chapters on other topics, including the work of Wilhelm Wundt, the concept of association in psychology and the history of the person, as well as articles on issues of historiography. His work is of relevance to theoretical and philosophical psychology, and he has described it as the place where history, theory, and philosophy meet. A particularly notable aspect of his work is the influence of the sociology of knowledge.
