Historiography
摘要
First, this chapter analyzes the concept in the field of historiography in general, from von Ranke and later the Annales School and Marxist historiography to more contemporary perspectives. Next, the chapter analyzes different moments in the twentieth century in which interest in the history of psychology became evident, beginning with a moment that coincided with the end of European hegemony in the so-called new psychology that emerged in the last decades of the nineteenth century. After analyzing other moments, the most recent historiographical trends are highlighted. Among these is the growing interest in addressing the plurality of developments, perspectives, and voices that go beyond the limits of a WEIRD perspectives, particularly gender and decolonial perspectives. In this vein, the historiography of psychology is interested in reflecting cultural and racial differences, gender differences, and differences in the development and uses of psychology in different regions and countries.
