This entry aims to present the force ideas of aquilombamento/aquilombação (Aquilombment/aquilombation). The notion of quilombo will be understood as a freedom metaphor, allowing its application in different contexts; in this case, from an antimanicolonial perspective, developed within the Psychosocial Care Network of the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS). To this end, the text engages with Black Brazilian intellectuals such as Clóvis Moura, Abdias do Nascimento, Beatriz Nascimento, and Mariléa de Almeida, who provide theoretical foundations for the understanding of the dispositive of aquilombação (aquilombation).
