Feyerabend Paul K. (1924–1994)
摘要
Feyerabend is mainly known for supporting methodological anarchism, according to which it is not possible to identify a single scientific method. He remarks that sciences deal with different problems in different contexts for different purposes and so cannot adopt the same rules all the time. Therefore, Feyerabend criticizes both empiricism and rationalism, arguing that in addition to logic and observation, psychological aspects contribute to the production of knowledge as well. Furthermore, by encouraging pluralism, epistemological anarchism acknowledges the value of such sciences as psychology, where different theoretical orientations exist, interacting with one another and generating a debate that fosters progress.
