Rereading Guattari Today: From Indeterminacy and Acceleration to Worlding, from Antipsychiatry to Enactive Psychiatry, from Hysteria to Animism
摘要
In this chapter I look at the way in which Guattari’s ontology and modal philosophy may contribute to reframe creatively various contemporary philosophical debates like those on accelerationism, contingency, and worlding—and thereby to move beyond speculative realism and new materialism. Besides, I explore the relations susceptible of being drawn between Guattari’s schizoanalysis and today’s enactive psychiatry, in which sense-making and world-disclosure go hand in hand in opposition to the epistemological anarchism of the anti-psychiatric movement to which Guattari’s thought is often connected.
