From Deterritorialization to Determinability: Guattari’s Chaosmic Ontology in Schizoanalytic Cartographies and His Unpublished Notes for What Is Philosophy?
摘要
This chapter surveys Guattari’s take on being and subjectivity as modulation of consistency. I argue that Guattari’s idea of chaosmosis, which bespeaks the transition from chaos to cosmos, is entirely dependent upon it. Also, I scrutinize Guattari’s fourfold diagrams, inquire into their overlapping of modal, processual, energetic, temporal, and mythological categories, and show that they supply a transcendental meta-model for being’s multifactorial determinability. Moreover, I suggest that Guattari’s unpublished notes for What Is Philosophy? apply a similar idea to thought’s manifold determinability.
