Development of an Application for the Study of the GGH Cryptographic Scheme

In the first part contribution presents the main approaches to the development of post-quantum algorithms and reviews progress in the field of quantum computers and post-quantum cryptographic encryption systems. Further, article considers the most promising approaches, that are based on the using of theory of lattices. Then, authors reviews in more detail the Goldreich Goldwasser Halevi encryption scheme based on the theory of lattices. In the second part, article presents a software package that allows the user to study the main functions of the GGH scheme: key generation algorithms, encryption algorithms and message decryption. The article specifies the main purposes of the modules of the software package, describes the user interface of the program. Also, the software package makes it possible to carry out an attack on the encryption scheme using the Lenstra-Lenstra-Lovasz algorithm. The article considers the details of applying this algorithm, mentioning the difficult to solve problems, which are being the base of cryptographic scheme and are being solved by LLL-algorithm. This application can be used as part of a laboratory complex when studying. #CSOC1120.
