Holding Space: Creating a Compassionate and Collaborative Environment

The author introduces the concept of holding space and describes how it can provide comfort and support to patients and their loved ones. The chapter also discusses the Compassionate Collaborative Care (“The Triple C”) Model and Framework, which aims to improve patient health, experience, and well-being by promoting communication, collaboration, and compassion, and how this model provides for provider well-being as well.
