Thinking and Writing (Politics) Cinematically: The Cinematic Mode of Political Theorizing

The aim of this chapter is to advance the cinematicCinematic mode of political theorizing, as well as to present the film Eye in the SkyEye in the Sky, why it was chosen and what its importance in the creative process that explores the entanglement between WashingtonWashington and HollywoodHollywood. In the first instance, I argue that the way the discipline of International Relations approaches cinema must go beyond using imagesImage as a mirror of reality, that is, in their representational form.
