Development of Durable Self-compacting Concrete Incorporating with Mineral Admixures and Steel Fibre

The study evaluates the influence of mineral admixtures and steel fibers on the long-term durability of self-compacting concrete (SCC). Because SCC is such a flowable concrete, segregation is not necessary when using it in both static and dynamic applications. For self-compacting concrete (SCC), some of the traditional cement and fine particles were substituted in this study with varying amounts of fly ash, steel fibres, and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) in various combinations. After extensive preparation, the combinations' mechanical behaviour and durability were evaluated to make sure they would be the necessary workable. Furthermore, by reducing carbon emissions, steel fibre inclusion is expected to support sustainable building practices.
