摘要

Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are responsible for 41 million annual deaths worldwide. Managing NCDs involves the identification, screening, and treatment of them. However, the scarcity of healthcare resources and disparities in healthcare access represent an obstacle to managing NCDs. Mobile health provides opportunities to overcome these obstacles and connect with inaccessible communities. This study aims to investigate Moroccan physicians’ familiarity, perceptions and attitudes toward the use of mobile health technology. This study was conducted in 2023 in Morrocco. In total, 110 specialists and general practitioners from four hospitals were asked to complete a questionnaire. 42% were aged between 30 and 50 years. About 8% of the participants were familiar with mhealth. There were concerns regarding the security of health data. Developing mHealth applications on a secure and safe platform is strongly recommended.
