摘要

Against a global backdrop marked by climatic fluctuations and in the fight against global warming, Morocco has adopted an energy strategy focused on the development of renewable energies, more specifically wind and solar power. However, these renewable energies are notorious for their intermittent nature, which can be offset by the addition of a practical energy storage system. Hydrogen storage systems have seen a resurgence in popularity in recent years, particularly in microgrids, as they offer flexible and long-term storage capabilities compared to battery storage. In this study, the techno-economic feasibility of an energy storage system for an autonomous microgrid based on solar and wind energy in the southern region of Morocco is evaluated. HOMER Pro software is used to evaluate and analysis the economic and environmental impact. Meteorological data is generated using the NASA platform.
