Numerical Algorithm and Backstepping Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM)

The permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is a nonlinear and strongly coupled electric actuator. Therefore, to control this type of actuators requires more complex command systems. Several methodologies have been developed to improve the performance and robustness of this command. In this paper, we propose adaptive control by numerical algorithms and backstepping of PMSM. The results found show the satisfaction of this technique in the face of variations in machine parameters and external disturbances.
