摘要

Blockchain technology facilitates decentralization by introducing innovative distributed software architecture forms. In these architectures, components don’t need to rely on a central integration point for trust to collectively reach agreements on shared system states. The global adoption of blockchain technology is expanding, notably in sectors such as logistics. Supply chains have transformed into dynamic, interlinked networks, intensifying the challenge of achieving comprehensive traceability for the flow of objects and their associated events. The potential of the newly developed blockchain technology to create an environment that is safe, transparent, and unchangeable without the assistance of a reliable third party, demonstrates significant promise in facilitating end-to-end traceability within these intricate and multi-tiered supply networks. The objective of this paper is to address the constraints inherent in current traceability architectures based on blockchain.
