摘要

Information technology (IT) is pivotal in fostering performance enhancements across societal realms, including the Supply Chain, bringing it into the era of Supply Chain 4.0 (SC 4.0) or Digital Supply Chain through the combination of modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics (BDA) and the Internet of Things (IoT), which is a technology engineered to efficiently handle vast quantities of data in real-time with optimal effectiveness. This empirical research paper seeks to investigate how the IoT might influence the SC 4.0. The study is conducted through a survey administered to a sample of 95 companies in the aeronautic and automotive industries, using the XLSTAT program 2021 to use the partial least square (PLS) approach to create latent variable structural modeling. Served to perform the statistical calculations. Our findings indicate a positive influence of the IoT on SC 4.0. With a measurement reliability exceeding 0.7, we were able to assess our conceptual model’s validity both internally and externally. Each of the four theories came true.
