The Impact of Accounting Information System on Financial Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bahrain

The study aims to examine the impact of accounting information system on financial performance in small and medium enterprises in Bahrain. The study used a questionnaire to collect the date from 185 small and medium enterprises in Bahrain. The study result revealed that the accounting information system has a significant influence on financial performance. It recommended that small and medium enterprises in Bahrain should focus on enhancing their AIS, ensuring data quality and reliability, aligning it with organizational goals, monitoring its performance, investing in employee training, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision making to improve financial performance.
