E-Learning at Gulf University: GDS-Based Descriptive Analysis

This research paper presents a descriptive analysis of the e-learning system at Gulf University using Google Data Studio. The study applied to the data of the fall semester 2022/2023 incorporates modifications and additions to enhance its applicability as a tool for measuring course learning outcomes (CILOs). This pioneering research project at Gulf University delves into the efficiency and effectiveness of the e-learning system, conducting a descriptive analysis of the data. The research explores various aspects of the model’s utilization by teachers based on their colleges, examining quantitative features such as course numbers, quizzes, assignments, downloads by students, count of uploaded learning resources, and total course views. Additionally, the analysis integrates qualitative features through Google Data Studio, incorporating results from open-ended questionnaires and interviews. The findings indicate that teachers’ performance in utilizing the Moodle system is more effective and positive in most subjects taught during the fall semester compared to previous years. The research concludes by generating interactive graphical reports encompassing diverse graphs, charts, and information panels, aiming to convey a profound understanding of the e-learning system at Gulf University. This model serves as an exemplary descriptive analysis applied in educational institutions utilizing e-learning.
