Location Privacy Based on Geo-Fence Service in a Vehicular Cloud Networks

摘要

The increase in requests for location-based services (LBS) from different untrusted cloud services will put users’ lives in a critical situation when the attacker can track the location trajectories of user movement. This paper proposes a novel way to provide location privacy based on entering or leaving the IoT devices in a particular geo-fence area in the vehicular cloud network (VCN). The proposed novel will give the anonymized users’ trajectories movement when the users move between the geo-fencing different regions. The proposed novel will generate a k-dummy location and semantic geo-fence into a different geographical area to obfuscate the user trajectories. The proposed technique will generate a k-dummy when the IoT device requests a point of interest (POI) from the LBS to hide the user’s location. The proposed geo-fence service in this novel will be anonymized and obfuscate the user movement when it occurs while the user moves from one geo-fence to another by generating a k-dummy geo-fence area in a different geographical region along with a k-dummy location. The proposed techniques show the flexibility of responding to the location trajectories of different IoT devices and apply the location privacy technique in the VCN.
