Functions of a Vector Variable

Some properties, in particular differential properties of curves, i.e., vector functions of a scalar variable (parameter), were explored in the previous lectures. Now the dual situation will be faced, that is to study scalar functions of several scalar variables or, as commonly said, functions of a vector variable.
