Solution of Poisson’s Equation

As mentioned in Sect. 2.2, Poisson’s problems play important roles related to the introduction of potentials both in Electromagnetism and in Continuum Mechanics. Due to their importance, several methods for solving these problems have been proposed and used. The present lesson is dedicated to a particular class of methods, in which Green’s functions are used.
