Parabolic and Hyperbolic Partial Differential Equations

This lecture briefly presents solutions for a parabolic and a hyperbolic equation, studying partial differential problems on domains of simple shape. As already seen in the previous lectures, parabolic equations generally govern diffusive problems, whereas hyperbolic equations appear when studying wave propagation phenomena.
