摘要

Artificial intelligence and its implementation into several domains of orthopedic surgical research are rapidly evolving. These statistical methods have demonstrated a wide range of applications within the field of hip arthroscopy, with several studies demonstrating promising performance. The primary uses of artificial intelligence in the hip arthroscopy literature have included leveraging datasets to predict clinical outcomes, adverse events, and resource utilization. Anecdotally, the application of artificial intelligence in other fields for the prediction of landmarks around the hip and pelvis also has important implications for the field of hip arthroscopy. The current chapter will discuss the current state of artificial intelligence in hip arthroscopy and highlight several contemporary areas in which this technology is being used.
