Measurement of Transmission Speed in the Presence of Disruptions to the Transmission Path Caused by Glass Plates
摘要
This paper addresses the results of testing LiFiMAX devices. In the tests, we focused on the transmission of the optical signal through a glass obstacle – a glass plate. The goal of the measurements, conducted within a predefined communication scenario, was to determine the optical signal’s transmission through a specific quantity of glass plates. These plates were inserted into the communication path between the LiFiMAX AccessPoint (AP) and LiFiMAX Dongle. Additionally, the objective was to measure the energy consumption of the LiFiMAX Dongle device concerning the assumed usage with battery-powered devices. Finally, we conducted measurements of the transmission speed using the LiFiMAX AP transmitter and LiFiMAX Dongle receiver through glass doors with etched glass, positioned between the LiFiMAX AP and LiFiMAX Dongle.
