摘要

The health crisisCrisis of Covid-19COVID-19 has affected all spheres of human activity hard. Because of the cruel lack of funding and resources, particularly at the height of the pandemic, health careCare sectors around the world, which were meant to fight the spread of the disease and restrict its extent, are out of breath. This raises concerns about the robustness of existing HospitalHospital Supply ChainSupply chain (HSC) models, designed to provide the necessary resources to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical treatment for patients. This paper aims to initially perform an empirical study through a field survey, revealing the impact of Covid-19COVID-19 on the processes within the HSC of a public hospital actively engaged in patient care during the pandemic. Subsequently, a set of potential actions, encompassing both preventive and adaptive measures, to address the challenges faced by the pandemic are presented. The goal is to foster the resilienceResilience of the HSC, ensuring its capacity to effectively navigate potential future crises.
