E-Records System for Healthcare Patient Folder Management

This study aims to support healthcare organizations in improving hospital record systems and safeguarding privacy by storing folders in a secure cloud accessible only to authorized personnel. The focus is on addressing issues like folder loss and time-consuming searches. The E-Records System, enabled by cloud storage, intends to provide patients access to their records and enhance tracking of medical record access. The study emphasizes the challenges faced due to inadequate medical history relocation, hindering effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. Survey data underscores the importance of electronic records management in hospitals, with a majority supporting its potential to reduce retrieval times, relocate medical histories, and preserve privacy. The study recommends a folder relocation service to avoid patient disruptions and suggests leveraging power users for effective change management.
