Analysis and Forecasting of Platinum Price Dynamics

The results of the analysis of hidden cyclic regularities in the dynamics of platinum prices using the method of anamorphosis for Gompertz models are presented. The boundaries of the ranges of automodel growth are closely related to the local minima of functions and, together with them, form the spectral composition of the time series of world platinum prices. It is emphasized that the price is currently in the so-called “sidewall”. It is assumed that the platinum price will be able to reach a local maximum in the period from 2026 to 2028, after which it will fix on it with a high probability of a small correction. The next local highs can be expected, presumably, within 5–7 years. #CSOC1120.
