摘要

Internal logistics constitutes a crucial aspect of supply chain management that encompasses the entire spectrum of activities within an organization. This involves the efficient handling of storage, transportation, and distribution of goods to meet domestic demands and support manufacturing processes, ensuring a seamless production and supply of products, materials, components, and semi-finished parts. To facilitate these internal logistics operations, various equipment and vehicles are employed, predominantly powered by fossil fuels such as diesel. Unfortunately, this reliance on traditional fuels contributes to the emission of atmospheric substances and greenhouse gas (GHG), both directly and indirectly, by a company. This study endeavors to present optimal practices aimed at mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and atmospheric pollutants in internal logistics. These practices encompass internal transport, movement, handling, and storage activities. Additionally, the study seeks to initiate a discussion on actionable measures, outlining steps necessary for implementation. The research underscores the importance of adopting alternative energy sources for equipment and emphasizes the utilization of innovative systems like Picker-to-Part, Part-to-Picker, Order Batching, and Picker Routing. These systems are instrumental in reducing overall energy consumption during logistics activities.
