摘要

Vibrational transport of various objects including granular and other bulk particles is highly used nowadays especially in the technological industries due to its high efficiency and reliability. There are various methods and approaches that utilize the vibrational transport of objects. This paper investigates the transportation of objects on a harmonically vibrating horizontal plane when dynamic dry friction manipulation is applied to achieve an asymmetry that results in the motion of a body along a longitudinal direction. Using this vibration method, we could transport the objects by applying dynamic dry friction manipulation where friction asymmetry was created. A mathematical model was carried out using the Lagrange equation to prove the feasibility of the applied method, and the second-order differential equations were solved using MATLAB. The results and findings have shown that the velocity and the direction of the moving objects can be controlled by changing and modifying the control parameters of the function of dynamic dry friction manipulation. This transportation method is highly beneficial for industries that handle a wide range of masses of objects to be transported and require high levels of reliability and durability.
