From Detection Through Display to Understanding: Bridging AI and UI in Disinformation and Fake News Analysis

Fake news detection is a hot topic in the current times, and there has been a huge rise in publications presenting fake news detection methods. However, the vast majority of papers present AI-based technical and mathematical approaches and tabular results on benchmark datasets, while the systems, working prototype and user interfaces are not touched upon. In this work, we discuss and more importantly present proposed fake news detection systems focusing on user interfaces and working prototypes in order to fill the above-mentioned gap.
