Regulatory Challenges and Opportunities for Future Fintech and Green Finance
摘要
The financial system is currently being altered by growing Fintech and green finance, which brings regulatory possibilities and challenges. Laws must adapt to technological developments as well as the business world. Financial laws are being challenged by blockchain, decentralized finance and AI. The development of green finance requires rules that foster sustainable project investments and environmental transparency. Despite this, there is a need for flexible legislation that the regulators can use to encourage innovation in the provision of financial services. To comply with regulations through testing their products and services without fear for any risks, regulatory sandboxes help new financial technology companies. Furthermore, they enable regulators, industry participants, and entrepreneurs to conduct a pilot program where they develop innovative policies to protect consumers. Compliance automation regtech may be used to regulate compliance regimes of organizations under their auspices and manage risk detection of different types of financial crimes, including money laundering sanctions violations. To facilitate efficient working relationships between regulators in order to address cross-border concerns and level the playing field for green finance alongside fintech entrepreneurial ventures, regulators should work together. On the other hand, international standardization and information sharing ensure an environment that enhances innovation while preventing regulatory arbitrage. IOSCO and FSB Financial Stability Board produce Fintech sustainable finance regulation guidelines, whereas the Paris Agreement, blended with global climate goals creates a framework.
