Empirical Examination of Blockchain Technology in Organizational HRM: Comparing HR Employees & Non-HR Employees Perspectives

摘要

This study explores the workforce's perspectives regarding utilizing blockchain skills in Human Resource Management (HRM) within organizations. The primary objective is to compare the positions of HR employees and non-HR staff concerning the present status of HRM, their understanding of blockchain technologies, & their attitudes towards its prospective applications in HRM. Data were collected from 158 employees across various organizations, encompassing HR and non-HR roles. Analytical methods included Frequency analysis, chi-square tests of homogeneity, and log-linear analysis. The results indicate no significant disparities between HR and non-HR staff in their outlook on blockchain skills in Human Resource Management. These insights are valuable for organizational decision-makers considering blockchain technology usage as a component of Industry 4.0 advancements in HRM, providing a clearer understanding of employee acceptance of such changes. This research provides an innovative an analysis of blockchain technology's implementation in HRM within the Indian setting.
