Anomalies of the Cavum Septi Pellucidi (CSP)

In this chapter, we describe the sonographic features of major anomalies of the Cavum Septi Pellucidi (CSP). These anomalies include the isolated septal agenesis, the septo-optic dysplasia, and the lobar holoprosencephaly. Callosal agenesis is also associated with the non-visualization of the CSP. The prenatal differential diagnosis of these conditions is challenging, and it is thoroughly described in this chapter.
