Operatory Design

This chapter covers the types of movements and how the operatory design focuses on minimising wasted movements. It describes all of the required functions and features of a microscope to ensure team members can work efficiently and maintain physical health. The correct posture and positioning for both operator and assistant is discussed. A sample operatory plan which encompasses ideal ergonomic design factors is given.
