Benign Swellings of the Nasopharynx
摘要
Thornwaldt cysts are relatively rare cystic swellings encountered in the postero-superior aspect of the nasopharynx. They are usually asymptomatic but if large enough can cause nasal obstruction, postnasal drip, headaches, and manifestations of Eustachian tube occlusion such as ear fullness, conductive hearing loss, and a middle ear effusion.
