Anterior Skull Base Tumors

Anterior skull base tumors arise directly from the skull base; these are an extension of sinonasal or intracranial tumors or are metastatic lesions. Anterior skull base tumors are therefore a diverse group of disorders with varied histology and presentations. They are best managed by multi-disciplinary teams with expertise in neurosurgery, neurology, otolaryngology, maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology, neuro-radiology, neuro-oncology, neuro-pathology, specialist nursing, and inputs from allied health professions.
