摘要
In this chapter, the main challenges related to the implementation of HTC or co-HTC at industrial scale are covered, reviewing the current status of pilot, demonstration and full plants located all over the world. As explained, there is room for improvement in this promising technology, and according to the increasing implementation of this kind of facilities, the adaptation of this process to specific cases in developed and developing countries is possible.
