Revitalization and Social Cognitive Theory: Evidence of Indonesian Cooperatives

Cooperatives get a position as a driver of people's economic activities that carry the theme of and for members. The noble ideals of unity, cooperation, and independence are reflected in cooperative activities. With the existence of cooperatives, it is hoped that no more parties will immediately use the momentum to seek personal and group benefits. However, all the beautiful expectations regarding implementing cooperatives become a big job to make it happen. So many problems occur in cooperatives, from the incompetence of members in contributing to the progress of the Cooperative to fraudulent practices to the arbitrariness of the function of the savings and loans cooperative. Considering this condition, this study contributes to the success of cooperative revitation by integrating cognitive social theory with religiosity. This research will use a focus group discussion approach to obtain an integrated and holistic instrument for cooperative revitalization. The ultimate goal of this study is to analyze moral awareness, leadership style, and spiritual work environment toward the success of cooperative revitalization.
