Fog Node Selection Algorithm in Information Flow Control

摘要

In the FC model, fog nodes and devices have to be protected from malicious accesses. Although the CBAC (Capability-Based Access Control) model is considered, unauthorized nodes get the data from another node, i.e. illegal information flow occurs. In order to prevent illegal information flow, we consider a concept of component degree which shows how much sensor data is included in data made by nodes. We define illegal information flow relation based on the concept and propose an RR (Request Rejection) protocol where requests implying illegal information flow are rejected in our previous studies. In this paper, we newly propose a fog node selection algorithm. Here, nodes are selected so that requests implying illegal information flow are reduced. We evaluate the RRS (RR with the fog node Selection algorithm) protocol compared with the RR protocol. Here, the ratio of requests rejected in the RRS protocol is smaller than the RR protocol.
