摘要

According to reports published by the reputed newspapers like CNBC, CNN by 2030 brain tumors could replace other cancers to occupy 2nd position for being the most common type of cancer in the world. In 2020 alone with a count of 10,000,000 it accounted for the maximum number of deaths worldwide and is becoming more common each year. India also is not too behind in this race as it being the 10th most common reason for deaths in all over India. Around 6–10 per 1 million people are being diagnosed with brain tumor every year in India. Most of the deaths happen due to non-detection of the tumor at an early stage. Thus, a system is required which can do this scanning and could detect the tumors at an early stage. Detecting the tumor at an early stage is a challenging but very important part of treatment. Our application consists of ML (Machine Learning) models which could improve the efficiency in the detection part of a tumor which can provide a proper insight to doctors for successful treatment of the disease. Brain tumor is such a kind of tumor in which the tissues inside brain start to grow abnormally creating an extra piece of mass inside the brain which takes away the nutrients of its surrounding cells, thus resulting in brain failure. Current method of MRI consumes a lot of time as it goes through a lot of testing and screening, doctor has to go through report manually and sometimes it often goes undetected but every second is precious for a patient suffering from this deadly disease of tumor. In our system we are using Convolution Neural Network (CNN) for prediction of a tumor which takes the MRI profile as input and in no time, it will pop out the result whether the patient is suffering from the tumor or not.
