Primary Care of the Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Elder/Geriatric Patient

This text aims to address multifactorial health disparities, barriers to care, and best practices for inclusive transgender elder/geriatric clinical practice. It is the author’s hope to bridge existent gaps in the current body of literature by highlighting valuable studies and data while providing insights and practical considerations that can be utilized in any clinical setting for the betterment of comprehensive and culturally competent elder transgender and gender non-conforming patient health and wellness.
