This paper approaches an extended jurisprudential competence and argue that the promotion of the democratic rule of law engages joined legal, moral, and democratic competences of legal professionals. In other words, promoting only legal competence in future legal professions would not suffice to enable them to uphold the democratic Rule of Law according to the challenges created by democratic development. Therefore, we suggest a less limited scope of their normative competence to be fostered during their legal education. We introduce this scope in the following article and, furthermore, we provide a pioneering MCT-based research study with law students representing six countries whose moral competence was scored in terms of a comparative, cross-sectional study, additionally examining how efficiently legal education stimulates participants’ moral competence.
