Performance Analysis of DSSC by Natural and Synthetic Dye-Based Sensitizer
摘要
Individually, synthetic Eosin Y was blended with natural colors taken from a variety of sources. Pigments such as lycopene, anthocyanin, and chlorophyll can be found in foods like tomatoes, grapes, beets, pomegranates, kumkum, and neem. They mixed a concoction of Eosin Y and natural colors like tomato, grape, beetroot, pomegranate, kumkum, and neem. Different dyes and dye mixtures had their absorption spectra analyzed. Using an Electrometer 6517B and a Xenon lamp emitting 100 mW/cm2 illumination solar simulator, the photovoltaic performance of DSSCs doped with the aforementioned produced dyes was assessed. The prepared DSSC power of Eosin Y+ Tomato, Eosin Y +Pomegranate, EosinY+Grapes, Eosin Y +Kumkum, Eosin Y +Beetroot, Eosin Y, Eosin Y+Neem ranges from 0.0006 to 0.852 watts. A solar cell containing tomato and Eosin Y has a power output of 0.0006 watts. Solar cell Eosin Y dye has the most power 1.01 milliwatts.
