Optimizing Pyramid Solar Still Performance Through Integration of Circular Fin Absorbers with CuO Nanomaterials
摘要
There is a notable correlation between population growth and the demand for clean water. This study aims to enhance the productivity of pyramid solar stills by incorporating circular fins made up of CuO nanomaterials. The productivity of the pyramid solar still has been significantly improved with the addition of circular fins. The dimensions of the circular fins are 0.02 m in diameter and 0.06 m in height. The fins are incorporated into the absorber basin of the pyramid solar still. The experiment occurred in Pongalur, at coordinates 10.9729° N and 77.3698° E. Studies have shown that pyramid solar stills with a circular fin arrangement have higher thermal efficiency than traditional pyramid solar stills. The results of this study suggest that the pyramid solar still demonstrates a notable increase in thermal efficiency when combined with circular fins. The solar still with circular fins showed a significant 58.67% increase in distilled water production compared to a conventional still.
